I completed my 200hr teacher certification with Tias Little in Santa Fe, New Mexico.   Currently I am in the 500hr teacher training, immersing myself in anatomy, asana, sanskrit, meditation, nutrition, and the philosophy and therapeutics of yoga.  With a desire to share my love of yoga and it’s benefits I opened The Yoga Room in 2008.  I continue to study, attend training’s, workshops, and retreats expanding my own practice so my teaching is always fresh and able to deeply benefit students. In my classes you will be guided through a mindful sequence that is creative, fun and challenging.  They may be themed or work up to a pinnacle pose you thought you couldn’t do…leaving you feeling empowered and connected inside and out.

I have been practicing under Cherie’s guidance since 2010 which inspired me in 2012 to begin working toward my 200-hour teacher certification at Prajna Yoga in Santa Fe New Mexico under the guidance of Tias and Surya Little.
My classes draw from several traditions using pops and adjustments to modify the practice to fit each person in the safest way possible and add variations to create challenge where needed. I believe this allows for a yoga practice that works for your body at your level.
I hope to be able to share the same inspiration and awakening power of yoga with you.

I started doing yoga when I was a baby with my mom.  Now my class mates say I am the healthiest person in the class!  I help teach kids yoga, come and join us, 5-12 year olds to breath in some fresh air and light powered by the sun! (we have solar panels!)   Cherie’s daughter, 12 years old.
